The Cisco switch C2960X-48LPSL supports a wide range of optics. It is fixed-configuration, stack able Gigabit Ethernet switches that provide enterprise-class access for campus and branch applications. They operate on Cisco I. O. S Software and support simple device management as well as network management. The Cisco WS-C2960X-48LPS-L switches provide easy device on boarding, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. These fully managed switches can provide advanced Layer 2 and Layer 3 features as well as optional Power over Ethernet Plus (P. o. E+) power. The main motivation in this switches design was operational simplicity to lower total cost of ownership. They also enable scalable, secure, and energy- efficient business operations with intelligent services.
Software:
WS-C2960X-48LPS-L Switches use a single universal Cisco IOS Software image for all S. K. Us. the Cisco IOS image automatically configures the L. A. N Base feature set.
Note that each switch model is tied to a specific feature level; LAN Lite cannot be upgraded to LAN Base, and LAN Base cannot be upgraded to IP Lite.
